The Nike SB Day One Grade School Boys' "Vintage Green/Oil Green/Sail/Black" Skateboarding Shoe is the first Nike skate shoe made from the ground up specifically for kids. Its skate-specific tread and Zoom Air unit help give you the grip and cushioning you need to keep pushing and trying new tricks. We added mesh up top to help make them breathable while durable suede overlays break in easily to help give you the flick and feel you love.

- We know how important it is to be able to feel the board under your feet—it's what helps you control your board. The lighter and more flexible the shoe, the better the boardfeel. With that in mind, we pulled out as much excess foam as we could from these shoes to reduce their overall weight and increase their flexibility.
- Durable suede overlays break in easily to help give you that flick and feel you love. Mesh adds breathability so you never have to end your skate session early because of hot feet.
- We used a process called cupsole construction to make these shoes. It means the bottom and top of the shoe are two separate pieces that then get put together.
- Rubber dipped lace tips help add durability and prevent fraying.
- Suede pull tab on the heel helps make these easy to get on.
